Cover Girl Jennifer Lopez talks about motherhood, heartbreak and the future of her career in the latest issue of ELLE magazine.
On why she never considered in vitro fertilization, like her character in The Back-Up Plan:
"When it comes to family and relationships, I'm quite traditional. Just because of the way I was raised. And I also believe in God and I have a lot of faith in that, so I just felt like you don't mess with things like that. And I guess deep down I really felt like either this is not going to happen for me or it is. You know what I mean? And if it is, it will. And if it's not, it's not going to."
On the merit of her romantic comedies:
"I think 'Maid in Manhattan' and 'Monster-in-Law' are very layered movies. And that's why they're so successful. People don't like sh-tty romantic comedies. Nothing that's sh-tty is going to make $100 million."
On hosting a dinner for Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor:
"She didn't realize what she was going to symbolize. And it's always scary to be thrown into it–that's what I felt like when I did 'Selena'. You're thrown out there, and all of a sudden you're not anonymous. You are now known. And that's a lot to handle. It's scary at first. Then you get used to it. And so she was in that moment of her life where it's just like, What the hell? Everybody's clapping for me. People are writing about me, talking about me, I'm on TV. She was just a judge in New York."
On competing with twenty-something pop idols as a 40-year-old mom:
"This is what I do — what, because I have kids and a husband now I'm not supposed to be me? I'm a more heightened me if anything. Hyper J.Lo. Everything I wanted before, I want twice as much now. And that doesn't mean material things; it means to explore more, to think more. Being an artist doesn't start because you're 21, and it doesn't end because you're 51. You are who you are until the day you die."

Storm In A Teacup
VICTORIA BECKHAM is not about to become a model scout after all, we can exclusively reveal.
Rumours that Beckham was in talks with her manager - and the man behind her fashion label - 19 Entertainment mogul Simon Fuller about opening a US branch of Storm Models, in which Fuller has a 51 per cent stake, started in the weekend papers and have spread across the web.
But they stop here. "There is absolutely no truth in the story regarding Victoria Beckham and Simon Fuller opening a modelling agency in New York," a spokesperson for Beckham told us this morning. "Victoria is concentrating all her efforts on her fashion line and her family."

The Leggings
Fashion is a cycle and sometimes we combine the present and the past trends but mostly the season trends comes back and Leggings are one of them. Leggings are a type of fitted clothing covering the legs, which can be worn by both men and women.
Modern leggings are typically made from a blend of lycra, Spandex, nylon, cotton, or polyester blend, but they can also be made from wool, silk and other materials. Leggings are available in a multitude of colours and decorative designs. Honestly, I'm not a lover of leggings but I have to admit that once you know how to wear it right, it will look chic and you'll feel more confident and comfortable.
In the past, people wear leggings made of buckskin or wool for protection against cold and animal bites and later on it become a wear for exercise. But, originally leggings are a trend that surfaced in the 1950s and slowly faded away only to reappear in the 1980s. In the 21st century, the trend has again reappeared and can be spotted throughout Hollywood and on the runway. The great thing about leggings is you can dress them down, dress them up or just use them to lounge around in. No matter what you use them for, leggings are without a doubt a trendy clothing item and the release of the popular film Flashdance, to reach mainstream popularity!
Nowadays, leggings can be worn with anything, anywhere and for any occasion. Great for adding some funky to smarter clothes, or for glamming up a party outfit, they have grown to become an essential wardrobe staple. It is perfect for any daytime outfit by pairing it with a denim skirt. It can be worn fully exposed, in place of trousers, or partially covered by a garment such as a skirt , a large t-shirt or shorts, or fully covered by an outer garment, such as a full length skirt. Avoid using leggings as an alternative to trousers because it is not a trousers and never wear them with sweatshirt, short, or tight and waist length tops as you might end up looking half naked.
The best way to use leggings is by wearing it with with oversized, long sweaters, long blouses and shirt or knee length dresses most especially if you have a curvier hips or thighs. Alternatively, you can pair it a seductive heels, flat shoes like ballet flats or boots and you can play it with big and huge belt. Or if you want to be bold find an exotic fishnet leggings that are a wonderful way to tease. Certainly, you can get the flirtatious look without going overboard and pair the innocently sexy leggings with cute strapy dress and you’re sure to get more than a few appreciative glances.
These accessories provide a whole new level of versatility and should be part of every woman’s wardrobe. Weather you’re dressing up or dressing down, they’re perfect for your summer outfits.

Princess Diana: Eternal Fashion Icon & Style Influencer
Fashionable is an underrated word when you think of the charismatic princess of Wales. With breath taking looks and a spell bounding figure, Lady Diana had a picture perfect face and was a hit with photographers hopping around to capture her glimpses. She was the world leader of fashion and knew exactly how to dress according to the occasion diplomatically.
Her gowns had immense flairs and layering done with silk and sateen along with the detailing done with delicate embroideries, laces and stones.
With the passage of time, her outfits became simple yet sleek, with more emphases on her charismatic personality rather than her status of being the crowned princess of Great Britain.
The face that she could look sophisticated even in the simplest of attire made her very popular both in her personal and public life. Princess of Wales was undoubtedly one of the most influential fashion icons of all the times.

Fall/Winter 2009-2010 fashion trends

Time for F/W 2009 - 2010 shopping!
As people say, get the things you may need ready in good time, time you checked out the hottest looks for this coming fashion season.
Experts say this coming fall and winter will be all about strong silhouettes and sophisticated glamour. Decadent features are present in many F/W 2009-10 key looks and reflect the current economic situation.
However, 80s disco style and bold looks will anyway find their own place in your wardrobe if you want to follow the fashion tendencies in full. It’s like all about girl power! See what I mean.
Get the shoes. Go fancy
Footwear goes surreal this coming season. The more extravagance and crazy you look the better. Opt for dramatic designs and exaggerated heels. Hardware embellishment is really hot, too.
Puss-in-boots style makes its glorious comeback in fall 2009. Long boots win over stilettos.
Moreover, designers let you go further and try thigh-high black suede skinny leg boots, one of the hottest key looks for the winter. Channel the inner Catwoman, girl!
Fancy shoulders
Padded shoulders made the comeback in Spring/ Summer 2009 and the trend remains strong for fall and winter as well. Get bold exaggerated shoulders to get a genuinely In look for this cold season.
80s style
Thanks to Marc Jacobs and the like, a strong disco-diva vibe is back to our wardrobes. Vibrant colors, sequined skirts, leather jackets, graphic tees and large polka dots - you can find inspiration in old 80s music videos and films!
Chain it!
Let some classic beauty in your life. Chain bags that are influenced by the Chanel 2.55 bag are so in vogue for fall and winter 2009 - 2010. Chain strap bags can be worn as lovely clutches and across-body style. Just like with the heels, metal embellishment is really huge for bags, too.
Bold heavy accessories & jewelry
No need to restrain yourself from getting extra large with accessories. Go oversized with chains and studs and jewelry and dramatic silhouettes. Thinking huge chunky rings and cuffs and leather bracelets.
Bold but demure
Glitter is still really hot. Shimmering fabrics are so in for f/W 09-10. To somehow balance the look designers suggest combing sparkling with demure cuts.
Back to the 40s
Go back to the retro look with French chic - cinched waists are present in both casual wear and outerwear. Get ready to see belted coats, skirts and trousers.
Masculine femininity
Female fashion gets mannish. A masculine tailored blazer becomes one of the season’s key pieces. Typical men’s fabrics like tweed enter a woman’s wardrobe in the form of shift dresses and jackets.
Zebra & leopard
Animal prints are still huge. Zebra and leopard prints stand out and dominate the print palette. The characteristic feature of all prints this coming season is that they’re statement - exaggerated and strong.
Capes
Forget about carefully tailored coats. Go free with capes. Designers advise to pair them with elegant shift gowns.
Knits
They’ll keep you warm and trendy during cold months. Make sure your knitted clothes are bold, big and shoulder-padded.
Leather gloves
Love this trend. Unlike other seasons, this time gloves can be absolutely different. Play with colors and shapes. Just make sure the gloves are leather, as this material is definitely a lead one this fall and winter.
Yeti-look
No I’m not asking you to stop cutting hair and having a shower. Channel your inner wild with the Yeti-look coats also known as Chubby. Shaggy coats in vibrant colors - that must be hot! You’ll look drop dead gorgeous and trendy if pair them with thigh-high boots and swagger.
